No - this is what "a temporary setback" looks like.
Many years ago - DFID started the SDP project for milk goats. I predicted it would fail.
Of course it failed. No witchcraft = just bad science.
I quote Dr Wamae of KARI - "that SDP project generated a lot of DATA"... politely saying - little to no milk.
So 20 years later I decide to make my own Super-Milk-Goat.
Plan:
Get a bunch of local goats.
Kill all the males, eat them.
Buy in German Alpines.
Breed with females. F2 is 50% German Alpine. Parent Stock stay separate, and continue breeding... this is an ongoing process. F2 Males are takataka - wait 6-9 months - sell or eat.
Breed F2 females with Saanen Male. (Eat male offspring)
Breed F3 females with British Alpine Male 25% local goat.
Breed F4 females with Toggenburg Male 12.5% local goat.
Breed F5 females with "Royalty - Jamnapari from India" 6.25% local goat... most important - F6 is 50% Jamnapari... from India.
Now this is where LandOSkinnyLions Witchcraft comes in... I need to stop oneearing LandOSkinnyLions peepols...
Since I bought and took German Alpines to the farm - Every kid born has been male.
Solution?
A) Send Pedigree Males to Gilgil - where a "flock of new females awaits them" perhaps some X-Chromosomes will win the next few races to the ova.
B) Eat all the takataka... transporting live goats is a smelly business... better to chinjaa, hang overnight and transport to freezers in Nairobbery.
By the way - the pedigree goats were really suffering from poor feeding... bones, skinny, poor conditions... their offspring - stomachs FULL, and well-meaty!
Note: I do NOT know how to work the "penix-testes area" - I stay away in case I cut the intestines and stain the meat with shyte... I like my mutura well-washed - like white!!!
